Hurley Chamber Orchestra to Present Spring Concert April 16 at Caddo Magnet High School

The Hurley Chamber Orchestra of Centenary College will present a spring concert on Tuesday, April 16 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of Caddo Magnet High School, 1601 Viking Drive.

The concert will feature student winners of the concerto competition of the Hurley School of Music. The soloists will be alto saxophonist Jeremy Bolom, baritone Lynd Matt, soprano Keira Knecht and male alto Eric Jackson.

The concert will include music by Mozart, Handel, Massenet, Dvorak and Maurice. The concluding selection will feature the choir and soloists of Camerata, chamber singers from the Hurley School of Music, who will perform Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Serenade to Music" with the orchestra.

Thomas Stone, Centenary's director of bands, will conduct. The program is free and open to the public.
