Pianist Melanie Foster Taylor to Present
Faculty Recital Feb. 11 at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Pianist Melanie Foster Taylor will present a faculty recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11 at Centenary College.

She will discuss and play Ravel's "Valses nobles et sentimentales," Schubert's "Sonata in A minor, D.537," Chopin's "Nocturne in F-sharp major" and "Ballade in G minor, Op. 23," and the Ginastera "Creole Dances."

The recital will take place at the Hurley School of Music on Centenary's campus. It is free and open to the public.

Dr. Taylor, a visiting assistant professor of music at Centenary, holds a Mus.B. degree from Oberlin Conservatory, M.A. degree from Marshall University and D.M. degree from Indiana University.
