August 25 - October 27

Commercial National Bank Corporate Art. A corporate collection created during the 1980s featuring Louisiana artists, many of them local. The exhibit includes painting, sculpture, printmaking and ceramic media.

October 19 - December 15

Indonesian Children's Art from Java & Bali: The Giant who Swallowed the Moon. Presented in conjunction with an Indonesian cultural festival at LSU Medical Center. Joseph Fischer, retired professor from the University of California at Berkeley, will be the special guest.

November 10 - December 15

Portraits by Jean Despujols. Jean Despujols was a well-known portrait artist who captured many Shreveporters on canvas. Exhibit closes the Meadows Museum's 20th anniversary celebration.

January 24 - March 9

Shouts from the Wall: Art and the Spanish Civil War. Major exhibition from Brandeis University in collaboration with Dr. Jefferson Hendricks at Centenary College. Posters, photographs and paintings from 1936-1938 about the Spanish Civil War. Multidisciplinary, including strong literature component, film series, music and oral history.

March 21, 22 & 23

Art in Bloom & Garden Symposium. Art exhibit interpreted in floral designs by area floral and garden designers. Symposium featuring well-known garden and floral experts. Celebrity table settings, luncheon, garden and home tours.

April 4 - June 1

Folk Art Animals A to Z by Leroy Archuleta. Well-known New Mexican folk artist Leroy Archuleta presents near life-size painted wood animals through the alphabet. From Centenary graduates Warren and Sylvia Lowe's famous folk art collection.
