SHREVEPORT, LA--Atlanta, Ga. area alumni of Centenary College of Louisiana will sponsor a "Day in the Park" from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at Murphy Candler Park.
Alumni and their families will gather at Picnic Shelter No. 14 for a lunch provided by Benny's Barbeque. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3.25 for children under 12.
Organizers are Les Hammond, Bill Robinson, Cynthia Watts James, Rebecca Ruffin and Carla Bauer. Special guest will be David Henington, director of alumni relations at Centenary.
