'Radical Feminist Philosopher' to Speak Monday, March 25

Theology professor Mary Daly of Boston, Mass., who describes herself as a "radical feminist philosopher," will speak at 7:30 p.m. Monday , March 25 in Kilpatrick Auditorium at Centenary College.

The program is sponsored by the Student Forums Committee and is free and open to the public.

Daly is associate professor in the Department of Theology at Boston College, where she teaches feminist ethics. She is the author of six books, including "The Church and the Second Sex, " "Beyond God the Father," "Gyn/Ecology, " "Pure Lust, " and "Webster's First New Intergalactic Wickedary of the English Language."

Professor Daly has lectured widely across the United States, Canada and Europe during the past 25 years.
