SHREVEPORT, LA -- Centenary College's Meadows Museum has been honored for East Meets West, the 20th anniversary brochure promoting the special Jean Despujols exhibition and events.
The award was presented by the Southeastern Museums Conference in a publications competition in conjunction with its annual conference. The division includes museums in 13 southeastern states.
Laura Noland, a lecturer in art at Centenary, designed the brochure, which prominently displays a sand mandala and Venerable Lobsang Samten, the Tibetan Buddhist monk who spent six days in the Meadows creating the colored image.
