SHREVEPORT, LA -- The chairman of World Vista Foundation, Howard Doughty, will be speak and visit classes at Centenary College Nov. 7 and 8.

Doughty, a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, will present his "Earth from Space II" slide lecture at a public convocation at 11:10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 in Kilpatrick Auditorium. Through the use of photographic images from space laboratories, his slide program will examine evidence of the damage to the earth's environment.

Portions of Doughty's environmentally oriented program are "Earth People," "Space Art," and "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly."

Doughty has previously lectured or exhibited at museums nationwide, including such places as Detroit, Winnipeg, Santa Barbara, Louisville, Seattle and at the Chicago Academy of Sciences.
