Edwin C. Harbuck to Speak at Omicron Delta Kappa Convocation April 3 at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Centenary Trustee Edwin C. Harbuck will be the featured speaker when the Centenary Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa holds its annual public Leadership Convocation and tapping ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3 in Kilpatrick Auditorium.

He will speak on "Three Imperatives for Success" during the program, which is free and open to the public.

Harbuck, a 1956 Centenary graduate, was president of the Centenary circle of ODK while a student. He is managing partner of Harbuck and Ridley of Shreveport.

Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society that recognizes a high standard of achievement. It recognizes student leadership in five areas: scholarship; athletics; campus and community service, social and religious activities, and campus government; journalism, speech and mass media; and creative and performing arts.

Outstanding students are elected to this fraternity from the junior and senior classes by members of the circle. Centenary President Kenneth L. Schwab will assist in the tapping ceremony.
