SHREVEPORT, LA -- Two new directors have joined the Office of Student Life staff at Centenary College.
Dr. Michael Lawrence, dean of student life, announced the appointment of Kristin Paulson as director of counseling services and Debra Dilday as director of residence life.
Ms. Paulson, formerly of Athens, Ga., earned the B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and is completing the M.Ed. degree in guidance and counseling from the University of Georgia. Prior to her appointment at Centenary on June 16, she completed an internship at the Georgia Institute of Technology Counseling Center in Atlanta.
Ms. Dilday, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, earned the B.A. degree in religious studies from the University of North Carolina and the M.A. in theological studies from the University of Dayton. Prior to joining Centenary on June 30, she was area coordinator for the Marycrest Complex in the Office of Residential Programs and an assistant professor at the University of Dayton.
Centenary College of Louisiana, founded in 1825, is the nation's oldest private liberal arts college west of the Mississippi. It is regularly listed in national publications and rankings, including U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges" and Money Magazine's "Best College Values."
Centenary is located in Shreveport, La.
