SHREVEPORT, LA -- The Friends of Centenary are seeking donations of old and new hardback and paperback books, records, CDs and tapes to be offered for sale at the 11th annual Book Bazaar in September.
To make donations easy, volunteers will be on hand Friday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. under the maroon-and-white tent near the Meadows Museum, 2911 Centenary Boulevard, to collect items for the Book Bazaar. Donors can drive up to the tent and volunteers will unload their books.
For large donations, please call the Office of Special Gifts at 869-5103 for pick-up arrangements. If it rains on July 11 -- or for donations any time -- donors can use the waterproof bins at 145 Wilkinson St., Book Bazaar headquarters, adjacent to the Centenary campus.
The annual Friends of Centenary Book Bazaar will be held Sept. 12-13 in the Centenary Gold Dome.
