SHREVEPORT, LA -- Testing for environmental pollutants and the liabilities related to it is the topic of the Science Colloqium Series at Centenary College at 3:30 p.m. Friday (March 14).

Dr. Don Scroggin, an environmental attorney from Washington, D.C., will discuss "Detection Limits and Variabliity in Testing Methods for Environmental Pollutants: Misuse May Produce Significant Liabilities." The program, free and open to the public, will be held at 3:30 p.m. in Room 114 of Mickle Hall.

Scroggin is a 1966 chemistry graduate of Centenary who later earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from Harvard and a law degree from Yale. In addition to working in environmental law at a private firm in Washington, he teaches classes at George Mason University.
