SHREVEPORT, LA -- Advertising and its negative images of women will be the topic Thursday at Centenary College during a public convocation with Rachel Gaunt, an advertising executive from San Francisco, Calif.

The program will be held at 11:10 a.m. in Kilpatrick Auditorium. It is free and open to the public as a service of the Centenary Convocations Committee.

Ms. Gaunt's firm specializes in advertising that is culturally and environmentally sensitive. She will be addressing the way women are portrayed in advertising. The title of her talk is "BADvertising: Advertising's Negative Images of Women."
