Centenary Planned Giving Council Hosts Wealth Preservation Speaker

SHREVEPORT, LA -- "Preserving Family Resources" will be the topic when wealth preservation authority George W. Hester Jr. speaks Oct. 8 at Centenary College. His presentation and the accompanying luncheon are open to all who make reservations by Oct. 6.

The program will begin with coffee at 10:30 a.m. in the South Dining Hall, located in Bynum Commons. Hester's first presentation will begin at 11 a.m. and will be followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. and a second presentation at 1:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Planned Giving Council of Centenary College.

Hester is president of The Hester Advisory Group, Inc., a wealth resource firm in Mississippi. He has over 20 years experience in the area of wealth resource planning. The focus of his work is comprehensive planning to organize, preserve, and ultimately transfer the family's resources in a tax-effective manner.

A nationally known speaker on wealth preservation, he has addressed groups such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Management Accountants and numerous groups in the banking community.

The $25 registration fee covers the presentation, refreshments and lunch. Registration can be accomplished through the Centenary Office of Special Gifts, 2911 Centenary Blvd, Shreveport, LA 71104.
