"Humorous Hypnotist" Dan LaRosa To Perform Oct. 24 at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Hypnotism will be tops on the agenda when Dan LaRosa performs Oct. 24 at Centenary College. The performance , which is free and open to the public, will be at 7 p.m. in the Hargrove Memorial Amphitheater.

Nicknamed "The Humorous Hypnotist," LaRosa presents fun for the entire family and says that those who volunteer to be hypnotized will have the most fun.

"That's because when you are relaxed you will feel better than you ever have before. You will be free of stress and tension, and at the same time you will free as if you had the most relaxing time of your life," he says.

His program has been presented to corporations, colleges, and high schools throughout the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. He has helped people banish unwanted habits, dramatically improve sales and athletic performance, increase personal power and has published articles on the benefits of hypnosis.

LaRosa is a certified instructor for the National Guild of Hypnotists and is a member of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists. In 1994 he was a nominee to the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame and he has been named to Who's Who in The East.

In the event of rain on Friday, the presentation will be moved from the amphitheater to Hurley Auditorium on Woodlawn Street.
