SHREVEPORT, LA -- The Shreveport Art Guild's annual exhibit, "You be the Judge," will be in the Magale Library Gallery through the month of September.
The exhibit is a show of miniature paintings, which are "small" in size and rendered in a variety of media. A ballot box is available during the show and the paintings will be judged entirely by the votes that are cast be the viewers. The votes will be counted at the end of the show and first, second and third place winners will be awarded by ribbons.
The Magale Gallery is located on Woodlawn at the head of Columbia Street on the Centenary College campus. Fall hours are: Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until midnight; Friday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m. until midnight.
