Shreveport Pianist Alison Beck to Present Solo Recital May 1 at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Centenary College will host a solo piano recital by Alison Beck of Shreveport at 7 p.m. Friday, May 1. It will be held in the auditorium of the Hurley School of Music Building, located on the Woodlawn Street side of the Centenary campus.

The recital will feature works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Gershwin, Rachmaninoff and Liszt. It is free and open to the public.

Ms. Beck is a senior at Caddo Magnet High School, who will be graduating with top honors and entering Centenary on a full scholarship in the fall. She is a student of Dr. Ross Smith, assistant professor of piano at Centenary.
