SHREVEPORT, LA -- The Centenary College baseball team will be hosting its Winter Baseball Camp for children ages 7-17, Dec. 12-13, and their Winter Skills Camp, Dec. 29-31.
The Winter Baseball Camp groups players by age, ability, and prior experience, and is split into two offensive and defensive sessions. The two mornings will focus on the defensive aspects of the game, while the two afternoon sessions teach the offensive. Each session is three hours and runs Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 13. The cost is $50 for either the offensive or defensive sessions or $85 for all four.
The Winter Skills Camp focuses on the fundamentals of the game and runs three days. Like the Winter Baseball Camp, the mornings will focus on defense, with offense in the afternoons. Campers can choose the three two-hour defensive or offensive sessions at a cost of $60, or they can attend all six for $100.
