Magale Library Features Watercolors in February
Ms. Cassel is a professional artist and private instructor, who specializes in watercolor sketching. She has exhibited her works locally and abroad. Her paintings hang in private collections in the U.S., Germany and Switzerland. Ms. Hill is a painter and art teacher, who is a member of many area art organizations. She prefers watercolors as her means of expression and has won awards in this medium throughout the area.
Both are members of the Shreveport Art Club and have exhibited and taught art in this area for over 20 years. Many of the paintings in the show are available for sale.
The Magale Gallery is located on Woodlawn Street at the head of Columbia on the Centenary campus. Spring semester hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until midnight; Friday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Sunday 2 p.m. until midnight.
