Homecoming Royalty Presented at Centenary College

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Students from Arkansas and Texas were selected to reign over Centenary College's recent student homecoming festivities.

Seniors Jimmy Van Doren of Jonesboro, Ark.,and Amanda Ellis of Atlanta, Texas were selected as the Homecoming King and Queen for 1998.

Seniors Steven Bell of Coushatta, La. and Mandy Soderberg of Longview, Texas were selected as Prince and Princess. Jason Lowe, a senior from Bartlesville, Okla., and Amber Tompkins, a junior from Little Rock, Ark., were crowned Duke and Duchess.

Other members of the homecoming court were Phillip Ward of Pine Bluff, Ark.; Martha Rundell and Tommy Eskew, both of Alexandria, La.; Matt Morgan of Bastrop, La.; Susan Moore and Jimmy Jones, both of Bossier City, La.; Dan McCabe of Boyce, La.; Brant Dowe of Sulphur, La.; Kim Bolin and Raigan Vowell, both of Colleyville, Texas; Dawn Franzen of Dallas, Texas, and Niki Kitchens of Fairfield, Texas.

Centenary President Kenneth L. Schwab and Mrs. Schwab crowned the winners during halftime of the recent basketball game between Centenary and Jacksonville State.
