Gretchen Crow, Patsy Godchaux Named to Centenary College Board of Trustees

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Two new members have been elected to the Board of Trustees of Centenary College of Louisiana and two current members have been elected to life memberships. The new trustees are Gretchen Smith Crow and Patsy O'Brien Godchaux, both active leaders in Shreveport civic and cultural activities.

Mrs. Crow is a native of San Marcos, Texas who grew up in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Woman's University and a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women's Endowment Quorum at Centenary. She has two children and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Godchaux was born in Shreveport and attended St. Vincent's Academy before graduating from Villa Duchesne Academy in St. Louis, Mo. She attended Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York, and Centenary College. She has one daughter and two granddaughters.

Chosen as new life members of the board were Cecil E. Ramey Jr. of Karnack, Texas, and Joe D. Waggonner Jr. of Bossier City.

The new trustees will join the Centenary Board at its next quarterly meeting, which is scheduled for Oct. 15.

Officers of the Centenary Board for 1998-99 are Roy S. Hurley, chairman; William G. Anderson, vice chairman; Charles Ellis Brown, vice chairman-finance; Taylor F. Moore, secretary; and Edward J. Crawford III, treasurer, all of Shreveport.
