Centenary Hosts National Science Foundation FastLane Workshop May 13-15

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Centenary College of Louisiana is hosting a National Science Foundation FastLane Workshop Wednesday through Friday (May 13-15) in the Magale Library Computer Lab. The workshop covers electronic proposal submission and institutional management of FastLane. The presenter is Beverly Sherman, an administrator with the NSF.

Participants can attend up to two sessions over a three-day period. Registrations include faculty and administrative representatives from all nine member institutions of the Consortium for Education, Research and Training of Northwest Louisiana (CERT) and the Houston Community College.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide hands-on training on electronic proposal preparation and submission, and institutional management, as well as to encourage collaboration between regional institutions of higher education.

Given the fact that NSF is moving toward electronic submission for most of its programs, this workshop will provide invaluable training to those institutions who are either active with NSF or who are interested in submitting future proposals.
