Registration Begins Sept. 9 for Senior Adult Education classes at Centenary College of Louisiana

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Registration begins Wednesday, Sept. 9 for Senior Adult Education classes at Centenary College. Sign up between 10 a.m. and noon on weekdays through Oct. 5 at the Senior Adult Education office at 2910 Centenary Boulevard, across from the Meadows Museum.

A wide range of subjects are offered, including classes in computers, art, music, nutrition, estate planning, flower arranging, poetry, folk dancing, opera, writing, finances and more. Book reviews and travelogues are also offered, as are special interest courses such as "The Ethnic Heritage of Northwest Louisiana" and "The Mortal Presidency." Classes begin Sept. 28 and end Nov. 7.

This fall Centenary is offering 25 Senior Adult classes, which are open to anyone 55 years of age or older. Participants can take any number of courses for the overall fee of $20. A few classes require a small additional fee.
