SHREVEPORT, LA (8/99) -- The fall schedule of classes for Senior Adult Education at Centenary College begins with registration, Sept. 6-11, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Center for Extended Learning, 2910 Centenary Boulevard (directly across from the main entrance of Centenary College).
After registration, participants can join their fellow classmates for "A Magical Mystery Tour', an afternoon of fun, on Tuesday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m. in the South Dining Hall of Centenary's Bynum Commons. Dr. Barrie Richardson, dean of the Frost School of Business and a magician, will perform magic for the group.
Participants will be able to enjoy refreshments, learn about the classes, meet the instructors, visit with old friends and meet new ones. "You never know where the 'Magic of Knowledge' will lead you," said Senior Adult Education program director Judy Moore.
Classes actually begin on Saturday, Sept. 18 and finish on Tuesday, Nov. 2. This will be the 26th year for the Senior Adult Education program at Centenary College.

For a fee of $20, a variety of short, non-credit courses are available for area residents that are 55 or older. In addition, persons of any age who provide transportation to classes for seniors are welcome to register in that class. Some courses do have additional lab or material fees which must be paid at the time of registration. Fees can be paid by cash, check, VISA or MasterCard.
