SHREVEPORT, LA -- Oil paintings and drawings by Michelle Sagere will be on display at Centenary College's Turner Art Center Feb. 22-March 22.
Ms. Sagere, of Denver, Colo., is an art major with an emphasis in painting. She is the daughter of Mrs. Deborah Sagere of Aurora, Colo. , and is a graduate of George Washington High School in Aurora.
The opening of the exhibit will be observed on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Turner Art Center. A reception honoring Ms. Sagere's senior exhibition is planned for March 6 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Visual, Sound, and Movement Gallery, 327 Market St., Shreveport.
The Turner gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 to 5 on Friday and 2-5 p.m. on weekends, except for college holidays.
