Registration begins Monday, February 1st for Senior Adult Education classes at Centenary College. Sign up between 10 a.m. and noon on weekdays through February 12th at the Senior Adult Education office at 2910 Centenary Boulevard, across from the Meadows Museum.
A wide range of subjects are offered, including classes in computers, art, music, literary experiences, nutrition, genealogy, poetry, folk dancing, writing, finances and more. Book reviews and travelogues are also offered, as are special-interest courses such as "How to Mardi Gras," "Northwest Louisiana: Who We Were and Are," "Joy of Opera Reprise" and "The Big Band Era."
This spring Centenary is offering more than 30 Senior Adult Education classes, which are open to anyone 55 years of age or older and to those who transport them. Participants can take any number of courses for the overall fee of $20. A few classes require an additional fee.
