Centenary Announces Student Media Heads for 1999-2000

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Five students will direct the activities of student publications, the film society and the campus radio station at Centenary College during the upcoming academic year. They are:

  • Chris Brown of Shreveport, La., who will serve as manager of the college's radio station, KSCL 91.3 FM;

  • Kari Johnson of Floodwood, Minn., who will serve as editor of the Conglomerate, the college's weekly newspaper;

  • Stephanie Noullet of Garland, Texas, who will be editor of the college's literary magazine, Pandora;

  • Jamie Prince of Coushatta, La., who will serve a second term as director of the Centenary Film Society, and

  • Danielle West of Baton Rouge, La., who will serve as editor of the Yoncopin, Centenary's yearbook.

    The selections were announced Tuesday, March 30 by Dr. David Otto, chair of the Centenary Media Committee. Through a process of application and interview, the Media Committee chooses the student media heads. The committee includes faculty and staff members as well as the current student media editors and directors.
