SHREVEPORT, LA -- Need a babysitter or tutor? Have a job opening at your business? If you'd like to consider hiring a Centenary student or graduate, the college has a new-and-easy way to help.
Centenary's Career Center has announced a new service -- called jobline -- which makes it convenient for employers to leave or request information.
Jobline is a message service, active 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employers can leave a detailed job description, which Career Development Director Robin Steed will promptly add to the job listings on the Centenary website at http://www.centenary.edu/career/joblist.html. In addition, those wishing to obtain a babysitter or tutor can leave their fax numbers and receive a list of available Centenary students.
To take advantage of this new service, call 318-869-5048. For other inquiries, contact the Centenary Career Center at 2910 Centenary Blvd., Shreveport, LA 71104 or call 318-869-5042. The center's hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
