UALR SWEEPS CENTENARY IN SEASON SERIES

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Centenary (11-27-1) and Arkansas Little Rock (19-15) hooked up for the final time this season on Wednesday at Centenary Park. The Trojans took the first two games of the season series 7-0 and 8-1, and added the third and final game 13-6. The Trojans scored eight runs in the also two innings to stretch what was a 5-3 lead, out to a 13-3 advantage. The Gents added three runs in the ninth inning, but came up well short.

Arkansas-Little Rock was led by third baseman Austin Standiford. Standiford went 2 for 5 with two runs scored and four RBI, capped by a solo home fun in the eighth inning. Derin McMains also scored two runs going 3 for 4 with two RBI.

Mark Durnaski and Trent Siskron each added two hits apiece for the Gents.
