Alison Beck to Present Junior Piano Recital Nov. 12 at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA -- The music of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1in B flat minor is on the agenda when Centenary student Alison Beck performs in recital Nov. 12.  

 Her recital is set for 7 p.m. in the Hurley Recital Hall on the Woodlawn Street side of the Centenary campus.  It is free and open to the public.

 Ms. Beck, a junior piano performance major from Oil City, La., is a student of Dr. Ross Smith, assistant professor of music.  She will also perform works by Bach, Beethoven and Chopin.
