Centenary Students Offer Safe Trick - or - Treating Event for Neighborhood Children Oct. 31

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Members of the Centenary College community will celebrate Halloween with a trick-or-treating event for neighborhood children on Oct. 31.

From 6 to 8 p.m., the Centenary Activities Board is sponsoring a campus-wide trick-or-treat event. "It is open mostly to kids in the neighborhood as a safe place to trick-or-treat," said student Lisa Game, a member of CAB's Special Events Committee.  "We really want to encourage elementary school kids to come and are gearing activities toward them."

Activities include tours, contests, booths and prizes, with the festivities beginning in the Student Union Building in the center of campus.

Students will decorate the campus, and staff and students will be involved in handing out candy to youngsters.  For further information, contact Ms. Game at 869-5454.
