Ladies Sweep Jackson State in Volleyball
 

SHREVEPORT, LA -- The Centenary Ladies swept the Jackson State Lady Lions 15-2, 15-9, 15-5 in volleyball action in the Gold Dome Wednesday night (Oct. 4).

The upperclassmen led the Ladies (6-15) in the attacking department, as senior Krissi McFarland had nine kills and a .615 attacking percentage and junior Joci Petten notched 10 kills. Sophomores Jessica Tennison and Allison Prestridge contributed nine and eight kills, respectively.

Freshmen Nikki Dawson and Lavashia Graham also helped offensively, each getting five kills, as the Ladies notched 48 kills to only 17 for Jackson State (2-24).

The Ladies continue their homestand when Centenary faces Alcorn State Friday night (Oct. 6) at 7 p.m. and Prairie View A&M Saturday (Oct. 7) at noon in the Gold Dome.
