Lara Brown in National Rankings
for Ladies Soccer Team

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Centenary senior forward Lara Brown is climbing the national rankings for the Ladies, who are 10-3 on the season.

She is currently seventh in the nation in points per game, with 2.67.
Brown has 32 points in only 12 games. She is only three points behind
the leader, Tammy Waine of Auburn, with the same number of games played.

Brown is also ranked in goals per game, as her 1.08 goals per game
places her in a tie for tenth. She has scored 13 goals in 12 games, as
well as dishing six assists.

With two more points, one more goal and one more assist, Brown will move
into fifth in the single-season leaders list for the Ladies. She is also
two game-winning goals away from breaking the single-season mark of six,
held by former Centenary soccer star Shelley Marusak.

The Ladies have seven games remaining, including four home contests.
Centenary returns to action on Sunday (Oct. 15), when the Ladies face Nicholls State at 2 p.m. at the Centenary Soccer Complex.
