Board Sponsors Free Easter Egg Hunt for Community April 8
SHREVEPORT, LA - Centenary
College's Activities Board is sponsoring a free Easter Egg Hunt and mini-carnival
for community families on April 8 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Jones-Rice Field.
There will be four
different areas of Centenary's campus that will
contain a golden egg
as well as other poultry prizes. Every 30 minutes, students will
take participants to these areas where they will engage in a hunt.
Multiple prizes will be given at the end of each hunt for accomplishments
such as finding the most eggs, least eggs or golden egg.
A mini-carnival will
be held simultaneously for the enjoyment of those who are waiting to be
taken on the multiple hunts. Various
organizations on campus
will set-up crafts booths with activities like "make your own Easter basket
out of a milk jug." There will also be numerous games with prizes
and a story-telling area.
Similar to the Halloween
event held this past year, CAB hopes to make this Easter Egg Hunt and mini-carnival
an annual ccurrence.
This event is free
and open to the public as well as Centenary faculty, staff and students.
Jones-Rice Field is located to the left of Centenary's front entrance.
