Sunday, Aug. 12 is Centenary Night 
on Louisiana Public Broadcasting 

SHREVEPORT, LA -- Six members of the Centenary College community will be on the air and another 14 will be on hand in the studio Sunday evening (Aug. 12) during Centenary Night on Louisiana Public Broadcasting.

They are among participants in LPB's Summerfest 2001 pledge drive and will be present from 7 to 10 p.m. during the airing of Great Performances Three Mo' Tenors and Russell Watson: The Voice.

On-air hosts with LPB's Beth Courtney will be Centenary's President, Dr. Kenneth L. Schwab, along with Lewis Bell, admissions counselor; David Henington, director of alumni relations; state Sen. Max Malone, a Centenary alumnus; Dr. Chris Martin, dean of the Frost School of Business; Dr. Gale Odom, dean of the Hurley School of Music; and Dian Tooke, director of service-learning.

Centenary representatives on the phone bank will include Debbie and Robert Grand, Mimi McDowell, Mary Ann Coleman, John and Rachel Ehricht, Tim Crowley, Katherine Fell, Catherine Fraser, Amy Petrus, Mr. and Mrs. John Rabenhorst, Claude and Gail Spence, and Lynn Stewart.
