Last Book Donation Day is Friday, July 13 for Sept. 14-15 Centenary College Book Bazaar

SHREVEPORT, LA--The fifth and final drive-up book donation day for the Centenary College Book Bazaar will be held Friday (June 13) at the Centenary Book House located at 145 Wilkinson, at the intersection of Centenary Boulevard and Wilkinson Street.

Book donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Volunteers will be available to assist donors who drop off books, CDs, tapes and videos. The donated items will be sold at the Sept. 14-15 event, which is a benefit for Centenary students. 

Bazaar organizers are seeking old and new books in both hardback and paperback, except for magazines and condensed books, which are not solicited.

The 15th annual Centenary College Book Bazaar will be held in the Gold Dome.  The sale, which draws thousands of shoppers, is expected to offer more than 30,000 books at bargain prices. Co-chairs are Dian Tooke, director of service learning at Centenary, and Hazel Fleck, community volunteer.
