Centenary Sponsors "Old-timers Night at the Ballpark" April 3 for Former Professional Baseball Players, Coaches and Umpires
 
 

SHREVEPORT, LA -- The Centenary Baseball Program will sponsor "Old-timers Night at the Ballpark" April 3 prior to the Gents game versus Louisiana Tech.  

Formerly held at Fair Grounds Field, the Old-timers Night offers a chance for former professional baseball players, coaches and umpires to meet at 5 p.m. at Peyton Shehee Stadium and to eat and socialize before the 7 p.m. game.  

Dr. James Farrar, former Centenary professor and Louisiana Tech player, will throw out the first pitch.
