Final Drive-up Book Donation Day is Friday, Aug. 9 for Centenary Book Bazaar Sept. 13-14
 

SHREVEPORT, LA--The Centenary Muses will hold their final drive-up book donation day for the Centenary College Book Bazaar on Friday, Aug. 9, with volunteers on hand at this year's new collection location.

Signs along East Kings Highway at Oak Street will direct book donors to the drop-off tent near Book Bazaar headquarters, which are now located at 108 East Kings, across the street from the former Brocato's Restaurant. 

Volunteers will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to assist donors with their contributions of old or new books, CDs, audiotapes, videotapes and DVDs that will be sold during the Sept. 13-14 Book Bazaar. The annual event, sponsored by the Centenary Muses, is a benefit for Centenary students. 

Those who wish to donate books at times other than the monthly drive-up donation day can leave their books in the waterproof bins that are outside 108 East Kings. Pick-up of large collections is available on request.  For more information, call the "Book House" at 318-219-3409.

The 16th annual Centenary College Book Bazaar will be held in the Gold Dome.  The sale, which draws thousands of shoppers, is expected to offer some 30,000 books at bargain prices.
