Centenary College Names
Lori Bradshaw Dean of Student Life
SHREVEPORT, LA --Lori Bradshaw, Centenary
College's assistant dean of student life for the past two years and interim
dean since last September, was promoted to dean at the beginning of the
spring semester.
She replaces former dean Scott D.
Greenwood, who accepted a position with the Duke University Talent Identification
Program.
A 10-year student life professional,
Ms. Bradshaw, 32, was formerly director of student activities at Cameron
University in Lawton, Okla., and the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville,
Ark. She also was a graduate assistant working with the Student Organizations
and Activities Office at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas.
She earned the bachelor of science
degree in interdisciplinary studies from Cameron University in 1992 and
the master of science in counselor education/college student personnel
from Emporia State in 1994. She is a native of Nyack, N.Y.
Active with the National Association
of Campus Activities, South Central Region, she has been coordinator for
associate member relations, conference, facilities and operations and exhibit
hall. She was national collegiate chair in 1998-99 and for several years
was a regional conference presenter and a Huge Leadership Weekend presenter.
Her memberships also include the
National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and the American
College Personnel Association.
