Community Easter Egg Hunt
on Sunday, March 24

SHREVEPORT, LA - Centenary College's Activities Board is sponsoring a free Easter Egg Hunt and mini-carnival for community families with children 10 and under.  The "Eggs-straodinary Easter Event" is set for Sunday, March 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Jones-Rice Field on the Centenary Boulevard side of the campus.

There will be four different areas of Centenary's campus that will contain a golden egg as well as other prizes.  Beginning at 3:15 p.m., students will take participants to these areas where they will engage in a hunt every 30 minutes. Multiple prizes will be given at the end of each hunt for accomplishments, such as finding the most eggs, least eggs or golden egg.

A mini-carnival will be held simultaneously for those who are waiting to be taken on the multiple hunts. Various organizations on campus will present crafts booths and there will be games and story-telling areas. This event if free and open to the public.
