Sherrie B. Murphy, R.N., is New Director of Health Services at Centenary College

Sherrie B. Murphy, R.N.

SHREVEPORT, LA—Sherrie B. Murphy, R.N., has joined the Centenary College administrative staff as director of health services. She will be responsible for administering the Student Health Center to provide wellness education and health care for students, faculty and staff at the college.

A 1973 graduate of Northwestern State University with a B.S.N. degree, Ms. Murphy was previously with the Bossier Parish School Board, where she served from 1987-90 and from 1999 until her appointment at Centenary in November.

She also previously served as director of clinical services/director of performance improvement for Home Health (National), as director of nursing/director of patient care at Lagniappe Hospital, as quality assurance and utilization review coordinator of Caddo Oaks Hospital, and grant writer/administrator for New Horizons Independent Living Center.
