A series of coincidences: Special recognition and a standing ovation from faculty and staff went to Dr. Brad McPherson, who retires after 32 years as a biology professor at Centenary. Pictured with him are Dr. Galen Sanders of Bossier City, La., who was a student in Dr. McPherson's first class at Centenary, and his daughter, Meridith Sanders, who was in Dr. McPherson's last class. Merideth was a summa cum laude graduate who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology this year.
