William Joyce Booksigning Event is Nov. 16 at Centenary College's Meadows Museum of Art

SHREVEPORT, LA—Centenary College's Meadows Museum of Art is hosting a William Joyce booksigning event Sunday, Nov. 16, from 2-3:30 p.m. Joyce, who is artist-in-residence at Centenary and maintains his Howdy Ink offices on campus, is an Emmy-winning author, illustrator and filmmaker.

Joyce books and posters will be available through the Meadows Museum Gift Shop along with other unique gifts for the holidays. Hot cider and refreshments will be served to visitors at the Sunday event.

The booksigning is in conjunction with the exhibition Read and ReJoyce II: A Selection of Works from the Archives of William Joyce on display at the Meadows through Feb. 1. The images and the words are delightfully combined in this special exhibition. Not just an ordinary museum experience, the installation of Read and ReJoyce II includes four distinct sections that individually focus on the various media used by Joyce in his works.
