Camerata and Chorale Ensembles to Present Concert Nov. 8 at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, LA — The first choral concert of the year at Centenary College will be held Monday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. in Anderson Auditorium.

Camerata and Chorale will take a journey through music history from the Renaissance to the 21st Century, featuring a variety of styles and languages. Of special interest on the Camerata portion of the program is a Bulgarian folk song and on the Chorale portion, a rendition of The Beatles' "Blackbird" with solo whistler Billie Harland.

The concert is free and open to the public.
