Centenary Hosts Oct. 9 'Experience Centenary' Open House for Prospective Students and Families

SHREVEPORT, LA—Centenary College's Office of Admissions will host the first of two "Experience Centenary" Open Houses for prospective students and their parents on Saturday, Oct. 9, beginning in the South Dining Hall of Bynum Commons. A second Open House is scheduled for Nov. 13.

The Oct. 9 schedule is as follows:

8:30-9 a.m. Registration and refreshments South Dining Hall (in Bynum Commons)

9 a.m. Welcome in South Dining Hall of Bynum Commons

9:45-10:15 a.m. Group Conversations in Kilpatrick Auditorium (Smith Building), Sam Peters Building, Jackson Hall Room 304 or Carruth Choir Room or Broyles Choral Room (both in Anderson Choral Building). Parents should attend the same panel as their student. A student's assignment is indicated by a # on his or her name tag.

10:30-11:30 a.m. Academic Department/Program Fair in the Haynes Gymnasium of the Centenary Fitness Center

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Lunch in Bynum Commons Dining Hall

12:30-1:15 p.m. Admission and Financial Aid session in Kilpatrick Auditorium (Smith Building) with Mary Sue Rix, Director of Financial Aid, and Tim Crowley, Director of Admissions

1:20-2 p.m. Student Panel in Marjorie Lyons Playhouse and Parent Panel in Anderson Auditorium

2 p.m. Campus Tours departing from the south entrance of Anderson Choral Building
