'Bubble Rap' Graphic Artists Exhibits to Show at Centenary and LSUS Campuses in October

SHREVEPORT, LA — "Bubble Rap," an exhibit featuring the works of 12 Northwest Louisiana Art Gallery cartoon and graphic artists, will be shown at Centenary's Magale
Library Gallery and the LSUS University Center Gallery from Oct. 1-31.

The exhibit showcases the cartoon and graphic work of Centenary art major Derik Sallis as well as Eric Dean, Micah Harold, Dan Garner, Paul Garner, Chuck Loridans, Shannon Palmer, Michael Neal Phillips, Leland Strebeck, Robert Trudeau, Jen Wasson and Sizer Yerger. Michael Parker will provide the show's essay and Trudeau will provide the musical soundtrack.

A reception will be held for the artists at the Magale Library Gallery on Thursday, Oct. 7 from 7-9 p.m., and a reception for the artists at LSUS University Center Gallery will take place on Thursday, Oct. 2, also from 7-9 p.m. Each venue is open to the general public.

"Bubble Rap" is a production of Northwest Louisiana Art Gallery in association with Musebite Management Co., Centenary College and LSUS.
