Students to "Jam for a Cause" April 16 at Concert Sponsored by Centenary's Theta Chi Fraternity

SHREVEPORT, LA — The Centenary Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity is sponsoring an American Cancer Society Benefit Concert on April 16, beginning at 5 p.m. at 516 Soundstage in downtown Shreveport.

Admission is open to the public. Tickets are $7 at the door, with all proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society.

"Jam for a Cause" is an event conceptualized by Theta Chi’s Chapter as a unique way to raise awareness and education about cancer in a universal format.

The entertainment is a mix of rock and classic rock and features the following local bands:
Midwest Caravan, 5 p.m.
Chad Morgan, 5:30 p.m.
DeArmond, 6 p.m.
Project Chaos, 7 p.m.
Fireside Legacy, 7:30 p.m.
Mars Vega, 8 p.m.
Ono! Ninjas, 9 p.m.
Zach the Rookie, 10 p.m.and
Dirtfoot, 11:30 p.m.

Those who would like to donate to the American Cancer Society through Theta Chi’s benefit can make a contribution at the event or send donations to:
