"I would help, but clearly I'm the cook," said Taylor Campbell, a junior from Minden, while cooking up hot dogs. Assisting were Robert James of Dallas and Wally Stuka of Shreveport.

Drumming up business for KSCL, the campus radio station, were Steven Turner of Shreveport, news director, and Lauren Brown of New Orleans, a disc jockey.

Representatives of the Shreveport Baptist Collegiate Ministry traveled to campus to assist with the move.
