Tibet, Monks in Exile are Theme of Exhibitions, Programs Feb. 27-May 29 at Centenary's Meadows Museum of Art

SHREVEPORT, LA — Two exhibitions — Tibet: A Photographic Essay through the Eyes of Monks in Exile and Men Against the Clouds: Photographs by Early Explorers to Tibet — will be on display at the Meadows Museum at Centenary College Feb.27-May 29.

These exhibitions have been organized for presentation to the Northwest Louisiana community by the staff of the Meadows Museum of Art at Centenary in cooperation with Joe Mickey, founder and president of the Tibetan Photo Project.

Along with the photographic exhibition, the Museum will host a number of special guests, events and lectures. These will complement an upcoming three-week "May Module," which includes a student trip to Dharmsala, India, home to a large community of monks in exile.
