Centenary Cross Country Team Presents Healthy Kids' Fun Run at 4:30 p.m. April 5 on Campus

SHREVEPORT, LA — The Centenary College Cross Country Team’s Healthy Kids' Fun Run will be held at 4:30 p.m. April 5 on the Centenary campus. The event for kids only offers a way for elementary children to participate in a safe run.

The goal is to promote running as a fun and central activity in sustaining a healthy life, organizers said. A one-mile loop will be run on the campus,ensuring a safe course for the children and their parents. The run is strictly for fun.

Children in grades K-5 will be placed according to their age group. There is no time limit and everyone is a winner and will those who register in advance will receive a tee shirt. Post-race snacks will also be provided. Entry fee is $5 and entries will be accepted until 4 p.m. on the day of the race.
