Centenary Students Present 'Religions of the World' Public Event on April 4

SHREVEPORT, LA — The Department of Religious Studies at Centenary College will host a "Religions of the World" fair on Monday, April 4, from 6-8 p.m. in Kilpatrick Auditorium. Booths on world religions will be presented and a $50 door prize will be awarded.

The Religions of the World fair is a combined project of Centenary students who have participated in the Religion and Culture class. Student-prepared booths on world religions cover a range of topics from Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam, to Rastafarianism, Taoism and Shinto. These booths display music, food, and other items related to each religion's culture.

This event is free and open to the public. Kilpatrick Auditorium is located in the Smith Building at the corner of Woodlawn Street and Kings Highway.
